Job Summary
Plan, provide, supervise, and coordinate comprehensive skilled nursing services to patients with injuries, diseases, and compromised health states in their homes. Perform interdependent practice with minimum daily supervision while conducting physical assessments, implementing the nursing process, and teaching patients and families. Operate a vehicle for business purposes and manage contacts with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and community agencies. Demonstrate competency in specialty areas such as IV therapy or pediatrics as required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina
- Current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State
- Not a permanent resident of SC
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
- Valid South Carolina driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to be insurable under the Roper St. Francis Healthcare vehicle insurance plan
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of professional nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Home health experience
