Job Summary
Assess patient medical status upon admission, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver safe care during cardiovascular surgical procedures, and operate monitors while accurately documenting patient care. Retrieve, lift, and carry supplies; ambulate patients; and navigate crowded rooms with complex equipment. Requires current Colorado RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of cardiothoracic nursing experience. Schedule includes 10-hour days Monday through Friday with variable call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire
- Shift: 10 hours/day Monday - Friday Variable days with call
- some nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracnursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting
