Job Summary
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and injections, and document care in EMR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Assist with diagnostic procedures such as phlebotomy and imaging, and provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions including ICU, trauma, or post-operative recovery. Support chronic illness management through education on medication adherence and lifestyle modifications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. This role requires a valid Florida RN license with experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine or ICU. Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with the state of Florida
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation
- Ability to perform complex patient assessments and manage acute pain or infectious disease cases effectively
- Excellent communication skills for triage situations and working with individuals of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs
- Background screening through the Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with specialized procedures such as wound care, G-Tube, ostomy care, infusions, or ventilator management
- Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background
