Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) for Home Health Admissions is responsible for conducting consultations and admission visits to assess patient and family needs, collaborating with attending physicians, and ensuring clinical eligibility for home health services. This role emphasizes the delivery of home health services and includes comprehensive documentation, patient assessments, and care coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program required
- Current RN license in the State of Florida
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- Completion of 25 CEU’s bi-annually
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in geriatrics helpful
- Work experience denoting communication and assessment skills
Additional Requirements
- Minimum one year experience as an RN
- One year experience in Home Health may be waived
