Job Summary
Operating Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator (Charge RN) in Colorado. Directs and coordinates all functions in the OR on assigned shifts, supervises staff, ensures compliance with state, federal, and healthcare regulatory agencies, liaises with specialty team members, surgeons, and vendors, and collaborates with schedulers to streamline OR flow. The role emphasizes leadership, resource coordination, and ensuring high-quality patient care within the OR, including supervision, performance evaluations, and staff development. Requires current CO RN licensure, BLS, BSN preferred, and prior OR charge or coordinator experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Active Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Two (2) years of acute care experience as an Operating Room (OR) RN
- Previous charge nurse/service coordinator experience
