Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care. Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services in collaboration with management, while supporting a patient-first philosophy and engaging in service recovery when necessary. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and operationalize current nursing strategies including employee rounding and hourly rounds. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, and assist with staff scheduling to manage labor in accordance with patient care needs. Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies, support proper inventory control, and implement courses of action for training, development, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations. This role is for an Emergency Services Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Lee's Summit Medical Center, an 80+ bed full-service hospital affiliated with HCA Healthcare.
