Job Summary
Provide therapeutic and administrative patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager, with exposure to maternal, neonatal, and pediatric specialties including high-risk pregnancies, neonatal care, postpartum recovery, and surgical procedures. Manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring critical thinking, time management, and decision-making skills. Maintain BLS certification upon hire, NRP within one month, and ACLS for Labor & Delivery/Antepartum and Women's Surgery candidates. Requires previous clinical experience in at least two of five Women's Services Float Pool areas: Mother Baby, NICU, Labor & Delivery/Antepartum, Pediatrics, and Women's Surgery. Work two 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) with rotating weekends at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, a premier destination for Women's & Children's healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- ACLS certification
- PALs certification
- Previous clinical experience in a minimum of two of the five areas served by Women's Services Float Pool: Mother Baby, NICU, Labor & Delivery / Antepartum, Pediatrics, Women's Surgery
- Part-Time Schedule: 2 12/hr shifts (7p-7a) plus rotating weekends
