Registered Nurse (RN)

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and physical health nursing assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients upon admission and throughout treatment. Identify risk factors including self-harm, suicidal ideation, and aggression; implement monitoring protocols and de-escalate behavioral crises using trauma-informed care principles. Formulate, evaluate, and update individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team while administering psychiatric and general medications as prescribed. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment through regular safety rounds and coordinate emergency response protocols. Document clinical evaluations, treatment responses, and medication administration records accurately within the Electronic Health Record. Facilitate family-centered care by involving parents and guardians in care planning and discharge preparations, guiding families toward community support resources and outpatient mental health services.
