Job Summary
Registered Nurse opportunity in Home Health/Hospice with primary responsibilities including patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, infection control, patient education, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality end-of-life and home-based care in Greensburg, PA. Requires PA RN license, BLS, and ability to manage emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects of patient care; leadership and documentation duties; ability to work with Home Health Aides and comply with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Six (6) months medical/surgical experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN’s with one (1) year experience in medical/surgical nursing or other healthcare related field; IV and phlebotomy training; certification in an applicable area; Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. For Hospice- prior Hospice and/or oncology experience; Hospice and Palliative Care Certification
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) approved curriculum of the American Heart Association (CPR and AED) program required.
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License (if out of state hire, the record report from applicable state driver’s license department is required)
