Job Summary
Provide direct patient care including medical examinations, implementation of medical orders, and treatment of medical conditions while monitoring signs of withdrawal. Work under supervision to communicate with supervisors and medical providers regarding patient concerns, and collaborate with clinical staff for continuity of care. Develop, recommend, and review medical policies and procedures, and execute public health education protocols for tuberculosis, STIs, hepatitis, and HIV prevention. Serve on quality assurance committees as assigned and document assessment and treatment planning consistent with agency requirements. Evening shifts Sunday through Thursday from 3:30pm to 11:30pm with a sign-on incentive up to $8,000.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse currently registered by the New York State Department.
- At least one year of experience, or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency.
- Basic computer skills required.
