Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in Med/Surg, ED, and Peri-Op settings while prioritizing tasks and responding effectively to emergent or unexpected events. Maintain courtesy and diplomacy in all interactions, ensuring calmness and initiative during critical situations. Adhere to state-of-fact requirements for an RN license in Michigan, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and demonstrate strong communication skills within our independent health system team. Located in Newberry, Michigan, this role offers hourly compensation ranging from $34.52 to $47.05.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to be courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others
- Ability to remain calm
- Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent or unexpected events
- Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties
- Able to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- RN License in good standing for the State of Michigan
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Experience in a healthcare setting
