Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) at Healogics provides patient care primarily in the Wound Care Center, handling intake and discharge processes, and may serve as a Case Manager. Key responsibilities include conducting initial nursing assessments, communicating with physicians, documenting care plans, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and educating patients or caregivers. The RN collaborates with healthcare providers and may assist in hyperbaric oxygen therapy after completing required training. Candidates are required to have an Associate Degree in Nursing, a current RN license, and competency in BLS. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current RN license in the state of practice – to be maintained throughout the duration of employment in the position
- Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Medical Surgical, Home Health or Wound Care Certification preferred
- Wound care experience preferred
