Job Summary
RN needed to provide patient care for Wound Care Center patients, manage intake and discharge, and may serve as Case Manager. Responsibilities include conducting initial nursing assessments, communicating findings with physicians, assessing wound status, documenting care plans, and evaluating patient progress; participate in quality improvement initiatives; provide education to patients/caregivers; perform HBO-related duties after training; may assume hyperbaric safety director duties after training; collaborate with Wound Care Center providers, Program Director, and Medical Director; may function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) per policy; and perform other duties as required. Required education includes a nursing degree and active RN license; BSN preferred; wound care certification and experience preferred; strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; proficiency with MS Office; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks; clinical judgment and patient advocacy emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BSN preferred
- Wound care certification preferred
- Wound care experience preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Documentation skills
- Team-oriented
- Ability to travel as needed (if applicable)
