Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) role for day shift, full-time at a hospital setting. Responsible for planning, executing, directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care for surgical patients from preoperative intervention through postoperative evaluation, ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience. Requires NJ RN license with current practice in New Jersey, ACLS, BLS (within 14 days of hire), and PALS. 2 years minimum OR experience required; BSN and CNOR certification preferred with certification in specialty also listed as preferred. The position is located in Westwood and Hackensack, NJ within Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center. Rate of pay is based on experience and education, with potential differentials and call pay.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN NJ License
- Current state Registered Nurse license
- Evidence of continuing education in OR nursing
- 2 years minimum as OR experience
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- BLS certification
- PALS
