Job Summary
Provide age-appropriate nursing care for neonates through geriatrics during intra-facility ground transportation, utilizing ventilators, balloon pumps, and IV medications. Deliver basic and advanced life support to individuals experiencing sudden illness or injury within designated EMS service areas, including mutual aid support for neighboring services and transferring hospitals. Maintain RN-EMT or MICN certification, complete required training such as ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS within the probationary period, and hold a valid New Jersey driver's license. This per diem night shift role (7P-7A) offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree
- Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Must possess RN-EMT or be eligible for certification within the 100day probationary period or certified as a mobile intensive care registered nurse (MICN), as indicated by N.J.A.C. 8:41
- Coaching Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO) within the 100day probationary period
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP required within first 100 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Care for the Pre-hospital Provider-Advanced (PEPP-A)
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) within the probationary period
- Incident Command 100/200/700/800 required within the 100day probationary period
- Valid driver's license in NJ in accordance with Inspira Health's Fleet Safety ADM.291*IHN*
- Must be able to lift 20-50lbs
