Job Summary
Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans to address their medical and personal needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitor vital signs, and promptly report any changes in condition. Communicate effectively with residents and families while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately using electronic medical records. Stay current with nursing best practices, clinical research, and compliance requirements through ongoing professional development and training. Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to support a positive, family-like atmosphere through teamwork and open communication. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure optimal resident care and facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing education
- Current, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred but not required
