Job Summary
Conduct daily patient care on Cardiology units across multiple shifts, managing both surgical and medical interventions. Provide continuous support to graduate nurses and student nurses through a comprehensive residency program and experienced clinical managers. Maintain current Connecticut RN licensure, BLS certification, and an ASN degree while obtaining a BSN within six years. Apply evidence-based practices and research to practice at the top of your license within a Level I trauma center environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut RN License required prior to start date
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- ASN Required (Must obtain a BSN within 6 years of starting in the RN role)
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred
