Registered Nurse RN GI

Provide preoperative and perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, including patient assessment, IV therapy, administration of preoperative medications, and verification of surgical site. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient safety and surgical workflow, participate in briefing/time-out/debriefing and universal protocols, recognize and respond to emergencies, educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up, and deliver evidence-based, high-quality nursing care while applying the nursing process and clinical leadership. The role involves rounding with unit leaders, on-call during select non-business hours, and mentorship/education resources to support professional development.
