Registered Nurse (RN) Genitourinary (GU) Oncology Clinic

Job Summary
Conduct clinical practice and care coordination for patients with genitourinary cancers in the Inova Schar Cancer Institute's outpatient clinic. Provide safe, therapeutic care while managing GI and GU cancer cases under the supervision of board-certified oncologists and advanced practitioners. Deliver patient and family education, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and utilize technology to determine care delivery processes. Maintain a full-time day shift schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no weekends, holidays, or call. Requires BSN or ADN with one year of RN experience, BLS certification, and Virginia licensure; oncology and outpatient nursing experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
- BSN or ADN - If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required
- RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Proficient in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skill
- Ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
- Proficient computer skills
- Full-Time day shift from Monday – Friday
- Clinic open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No call
