Job Summary
Deliver efficient, high-quality nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Nurse Executive. Perform comprehensive clinical assessments, administer medications, and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient recovery. Supervise and delegate care to LPNs and CNAs while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage discharge planning. Maintain accurate real-time documentation in PointClickCare (PCC) EHR and adhere to HIPAA standards, infection control protocols, and facility safety guidelines. Assist with the orientation, training, and clinical mentorship of newly hired nursing staff. Night shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing - ADN, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing - BSN)
- Active, current, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State Board of Nursing
- Current BLS / CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must fulfill required health screenings, including Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) verification as mandated by state guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitative, or geriatric nursing
