Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in the General Medicine Stepdown unit (Unit 2100) at Duke University Hospital, planning, delivering, and documenting nursing care in accordance with physician orders and policies. Delegates tasks, monitors patient status, educates patients and families, participates in performance improvement and professional development, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports unit initiatives and slope toward nursing excellence. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) OR Associate's Degree in Nursing OR Nursing Diploma program
- Current registration/licensure as a registered nurse in North Carolina or NC multi-state compact licensure to practice in North Carolina (NC RN license)
- BLS Certification
