Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to plan and provide direct care to residents as assigned. Plan, direct, and carry out shift routines on the assigned nursing unit while observing and evaluating personnel activities. Assume "Building Charge" responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee and provide leadership within the unit. Manage resident care functions, charting, documentation, and assessment duties. Participate in facility committees and meetings to enhance interdisciplinary processes. Perform other duties as assigned. This role is full-time, three days per week (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) from 6am to 6pm. Horizons Care Center offers long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, and respite services in a family-first approach.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR Certification
