Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care plans under Unit Manager supervision while maintaining safety standards and JCAHO compliance. Manage resident activities and supervise nursing assistants, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act policies. Calculate drug dosages, operate feeding pumps and oxygen equipment, and communicate effectively with families and staff. Maintain CPR certification and English proficiency; new graduates welcome with training. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available across all times with up to $55.50 hourly wages and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
