Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care plans under supervision while managing the environment to ensure safety. Supervise nursing assistants and helpers, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO standards, and North Shore policies. Calculate drug dosages, operate equipment such as feeding pumps and oxygen, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Maintain CPR certification and demonstrate aptitude for learning company applications. Full-time, part-time, and PRN roles available with wages up to $56.00 and shift differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
