Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care plans under Unit Manager supervision while maintaining safety standards and JCAHO compliance. Supervise nursing assistants and helpers, manage the care environment, and adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act. Calculate drug dosages, operate medical equipment such as feeding pumps and oxygen, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Maintain CPR certification and English proficiency. Full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts available with wages up to $50.75 and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
