Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit and conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments. Interpret diagnostic data from labs and telemetry, ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately, and maintain timely documentation using appropriate systems. Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events while instructing and counseling patients and families.
