Job Summary
Provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients as part of a hospital nursing team. Deliver safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care within established care plans, conduct admission assessments, discharge planning, and education for patients and families. Perform advanced nursing skills and operate life-support equipment (including ET tubes, ABGs, central lines, PICC lines, defibrillators, ventilators), respond to life-threatening situations, document medication administrations and orders, and participate in interdisciplinary conferences and program development. Night shift (7p-7a) in Dothan, AL; assist with record keeping and ongoing patient care assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license by the State of Alabama
- Minimum of two (2) years critical care nursing experience preferred
