Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents at a skilled nursing facility, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing residents to identify changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation, support and update care plans, supervise nursing assistants, assist with admissions and discharges, and ensure infection control and safety standards are met. Deliver high-quality resident care through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and ongoing education to stay current in best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN)
- Active State of Michigan RN License
- CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the frail and elderly
