Job Summary
Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to justice-involved patients by administering medications, performing medical intakes, and responding to sick call requests. Manage chronic care, perform 14-day physicals, and check or change medical dressings as required. Provide patient education on health concerns, respond to medical emergencies, and be capable of performing life-saving measures while directing Medically Trained Personnel. Maintain working knowledge of pharmacology including drug reactions, formulary medications, and costs. Comply with all state, federal, and local laws and regulations. Full-time days shift from 8 AM to 8 PM with alternating weekends, three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure
- Valid CPR certification
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
