Job Summary
Provide patient care on the General Surgery Medical-Surgical inpatient unit using the nursing process. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care with other departments while adhering to mission, values, and service standards. Requires current Missouri RN licensure (or compact) and an accredited nursing degree (BSN, ADN, or Diploma). Full-time day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) involve prolonged standing, walking, and physical mobility. Sign-on bonuses available for experienced and new graduate nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
