Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to plan and provide direct care to residents as assigned while planning, directing, and carrying out shift routines in the assigned nursing unit. Observe, direct, and evaluate personnel activities as the person in charge according to the Nurse Practice Act, assuming Building Charge responsibilities as directed. Provide leadership and direction in the unit, manage resident care functions, and handle charting, documentation, and assessment. Participate in facility committees and meetings to enhance interdisciplinary processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Work three days per week (Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) from 6am to 6pm.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care preferred
