Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for a group of residents under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON. Manage the environment to maintain resident safety and supervise nursing assistants and helpers. Adhere to North Shore's policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, and JCAHO standards. Calculate drug dosages, use necessary equipment such as feeding pumps and medication carts, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Maintain CPR certification and meet all health requirements. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available with wages up to $49.75 and flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
