Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for elder-care at North Shore Healthcare centers. Under supervision, the RN oversees a group of residents/patients for a shift, conducting assessment, care plan implementation and evaluation, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supervising nursing assistants. Requires active RN license and CPR certification; must calculate drug dosages, read/write/speak English, and have basic computer skills. New graduates welcome with training and support. Shift options include Evening and NOC with a 2nd shift focus; benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and shift differentials. Location: Altoona, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- CPR certification
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but training provided for new graduates
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and helpers
- Follows State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards
- Basic computer knowledge
