Job Summary
Assess, implement, and evaluate resident care plans while maintaining safety standards and supervising nursing assistants. Manage medication calculations, equipment usage, and environmental safety under Unit Manager supervision. Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, JCAHO, and North Shore policies. Requires active RN license, CPR certification, and English proficiency. New graduates welcome with training.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
- Ability to calculate drug dosage
- Meets all health requirements imposed by law
- Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications
