Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full-Time 12-Hour Night Shift in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities include accurately assessing residents’ health status upon admission and ongoing, communicating changes to the interdisciplinary team, documenting assessments and care plans, identifying nursing interventions, administering medications and IV fluids safely, using SBARR for physician notifications, maintaining composure during crises, monitoring care plan delivery, applying the QAPI process to resolve issues, assisting with ADLs, and completing minimum nursing-related offerings. Requires current RN license, CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within six months), and experience in long-term care. Benefits include health/dental/vision/prescription/life insurance and additional benefits; pay range $29.39–$48.20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Education from an accredited school of nursing leading to RN
- Current RN license in the state of employment
- CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient transfers (200+ lbs)
- Ability to push/pull equipment over 40 lbs
- Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
- Visual acuity for documentation
- Proficiency in electronic and written documentation
