Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted nursing unit residents by utilizing the nursing process. Plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Perform assigned duties such as Charge Nurse responsibilities, which require ACLS certification. Work full-time nights under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Current RN licensure and BLS certification are required, with ACLS certification needed within 90 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- AHA approved BLS certification
- AHA approved ACLS certification
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
