Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for individualized patient care in an oncology acute care setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and just-in-time patient teaching while documenting safe quality care and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals, participate in evidence-based practice initiatives and performance improvement projects, and mentor staff or students. Maintain licensure under the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, complete mandatory education, and support shared governance activities to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
