Registered Nurse (RN), FT Nights, Oncology (Acute Care)

Conduct direct patient care for oncology patients by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews to ensure safe, high-quality care while documenting progress and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics. Participate in shared governance activities, evidence-based practice initiatives, and performance improvement projects to address adverse events and reduce re-admission rates. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to support the recruitment and retention of qualified nursing staff. Maintain licensure and complete mandatory education requirements while upholding Wellstar Health Systems policies and professional standards.
