Job Summary
Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, or Charge Nurse, deliver patient care to admitted units while utilizing the nursing process. Plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. You may perform assigned duties such as Charge Nurse responsibilities, which require ACLS certification. This role is available for full-time night shifts at a Denver LTACH. Required Qualifications
- current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification for Charge Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
