Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled procedures. Assist with activities of daily living, supervise nursing assistants, and monitor resident status to notify physicians of changes. Develop individualized care plans, complete clinical documentation, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Participate in quality assurance, staff education, and regulatory surveys. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing. Full-time night shift with a $5 differential and $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requires active RN license and at least one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
