Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living while supervising nursing assistants and medication aides during assigned night shifts. Monitor resident status, update individualized care plans, and complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed, while participating in quality assurance and regulatory surveys. Maintain sound clinical judgment and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and physicians. Requires current active RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and minimum one year of clinical experience. Full-time night shift position with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and wage increase available.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
- Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role
