Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted units while utilizing the nursing process. Plan, coordinate, and provide interdisciplinary care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. Work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, with Charge Nurse duties requiring ACLS certification. Maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. Full-time position with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- AHA approved BLS certification
- AHA approved ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required)
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
