Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Oncology (Acute Care) in Sandy Springs, GA. Day shift, full-time role focusing on comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation), coordinating care, delivering relationship-based patient-centered care, ensuring evidence-based practice, participating in performance improvement, and serving as a preceptor/mentor. Requires active RN license, BLS, and completion of approved nursing program; less than 1 year direct patient care experience preferred. Supports safe, high-quality care in alignment with organizational policies and shared governance.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Registered Nurse)
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year direct patient care experience preferred
- Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
