Job Summary
The RN Clinical Nurse engages in the nursing process to deliver individualized, evidence-based oncology acute care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, implementing and evaluating outcomes, providing patient-centered education, coordinating documentation, participating in performance improvement initiatives, supporting interdisciplinary rounds, and serving as a preceptor/mentor to develop a qualified nursing workforce. The role emphasizes adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies to promote compassionate, evidence-based care across the patient care continuum.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience
