Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in Oncology (Acute Care) providing patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, coordinating care with patients and families, leading and participating in interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring adherence to clinical practice standards, and supporting professional development through mentoring and precepting other nurses. Emphasizes relationship-based care, culturally competent service delivery, documentation, and participation in performance improvement and shared governance to achieve safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours Required direct patient care experience Preferred
