Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice to ensure individualized, safe patient care. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and just-in-time patient teaching while documenting care and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and adapt service delivery to population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance initiatives. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, American Nurses Association ethics, and TJC Patient Safety Goals while developing protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- direct patient care experience
