Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse (Oncology, Acute Care) provides relationship-based, patient-centered care across the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) in a multidisciplinary oncology/acute care unit. Delivers evidence-based care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, ensures timely documentation, participates in performance improvement and shared governance, serves as a preceptor/mentor for other nurses, and upholds professional practice standards and ethical guidelines. Shift: Day, Wellstar system in Georgia; includes coordination of care, patient and family education, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (minimum)
- RN license (single-state) or RN-Compact (multistate license)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Less than 1 year direct patient care experience or completion of accredited nursing program with required clinical hours
