Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse provides patient-centered oncology care in an acute-care setting, performing the nursing process, coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team, and upholding evidence-based practice and patient safety standards. Duties emphasize relationship-based care, documentation, interdisciplinary rounds, precepting newer staff, and participating in performance improvement and shared governance. The role requires active RN licensure in Georgia (or compact), BLS certification, and relevant nursing education with a preference for Bachelor's in Nursing. Day shift, full-time, Wellstar system in Sandy Springs, GA.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Georgia or multi-state compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Completion of accredited nursing program and eligibility for RN Licensure in Georgia
- Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience (preferred)
