Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Acute Care), FT Days. Provides patient-centered care across the nursing process within an interdisciplinary team, adhering to evidence-based practice and professional standards. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; coordination of safe, high-quality patient care; effective interdisciplinary communication and documentation; partnering with patients and families; support for performance improvement and shared governance; and precepting/mentoring other nurses. Requires licensure and ongoing competency in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or equivalent)
- RN license either single-state or compact (multi-state)
- Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- Relevant clinical hours and direct patient care experience preferred (<1 year)
