Registered Nurse (RN) FT Days - Oncology (Acute Care)

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in an oncology acute care setting by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation while partnering with patients and families to set care goals and provide bedside teaching. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and mentor preceptors to support the nursing workforce. Comply with Wellstar Health System policies, safety absolutes, and the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act. Requires an RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) and BLS certification; Bachelors degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- direct patient care experience
